Fireworks return July 4

SIU announces updated schedule for free summer dental clinics for children

The summer schedule for the Dental Sealant Grant Program’s free dental clinics for children has been revised and updated. A variety of factors prompted the changes, including a particularly heavy demand for services in part of the region, staffing and the participation of volunteer dentists.

New Arts Jazztet will perform Sunday

New Arts Jazztet, a Southern Illinois jazz group comprising SIU faculty, will perform at Jazz Vespers, an evening prayer service at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1501 W. Chautauqua St., Carbondale, at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 13.
