Virtual Big Muddy Film Festival 2021 will include smartphone entries

The 43rd Big Muddy Film Festival, set for March 17-31, will be a virtual event featuring competitive films in documentary, animation, experimental, narrative categories and a new area, films shot with smartphones.

Black History Month celebrations continue

Simon Institute hosts presidential historian, author Alexis Coe on Friday 

Alexis Coe, a presidential historian for CNN, will discuss her writings and two books during a virtual discussion on Friday, Feb. 19, hosted by the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute.

The University Honors Program will be hosting two virtual forums, including a conversation that features a new book written by Jean-Pierre Reed, an associate professor in sociology.

The Touch of Nature Environmental Center is hosting a specialized high ropes/elements training course, April 19-22, giving people the chance to earn their Association of Challenge Course Technology certifications.
