SIU, SIH expand partnership to address nursing shortage
The ongoing partnership between SIU and Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) to address the shortage of nurses has advanced to a new level with an announcement that SIH is creating a scholarship program for SIU’s accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
Saluki Pride: Diana Cedeño researches, teaches to enhance social inclusion
Diana Cedeño, assistant professor of curriculum and instruction in child and family services, has been teaching at SIU only a couple of years, but her work on the social inclusion of underserved minority communities is already drawing attention on campus and beyond.
