Fermentation Science Institute is producing ‘Saluki Sanitizer’ for campus

The mixture might not be barley and hops, yet the Fermentation Science Institute’s latest products will serve a vital role on campus beginning this fall. 


16th annual Southern Illinois Music Festival starts Saturday 

While the performances were delayed several months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Southern Illinois Music Festival shows once again that in a year like no other, the music will go on.


Chancellor will host Saluki Safety virtual review on Friday 

Faculty and staff are invited to join Chancellor Austin A. Lane for a virtual review of the university’s Saluki Safety plan for the fall semester. The discussion is from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday. Go to chancellor.siu.edu to link to it live. Viewers will have the opportunity to submit questions to the panel. A link will also be posted to the chancellor's website for viewing later.
