New COVID-19 safety information and reporting form posted

The university's coronavirus website has been updated to include Saluki Safety, a round-up and expansion of important safety information; a form for confidential reporting of cases; links to resources and updated frequently asked questions; and guidelines and training for employees returning to work on campus. The site is updated regularly. SIU Journalism’s 1857 Project tells history of racism in the Midwest 

The Gateway Journalism Review, a School of Journalism publication that analyzes mass media in the Midwest, has marked its 50th anniversary with an eye-opening and timely issue, “The 1857 Project.”


Deadline for ‘Decal-By-Mail’ is Friday 

The deadline for eligible faculty and staff to participate in the Department of Public Safety Parking Division’s “Decal-By-Mail” program is July 31. Only applications paying by payroll deduction will be accepted until that time.
