Southern Illinois University Carbondale announces the appointment of Stephen C. Shih as associate dean and director of the Graduate School.

New evaluation forms go into effect July 1 

A new performance evaluation form for civil service and administrative/professional (A/P) staff will be available for use July 1. This new form replaces prior versions of the two separate forms that have been in use since 2007.

The university’s Institutional Research and Studies and Information Technology offices recently released the new SIU Interactive Fact Book.

Learn to Leave No Trace or become a Certified Interpretive Guide at Touch of Nature 

Touch of Nature Environmental Center has been selected as one of very few sites across the nation to host Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics Master Educator Course training sessions and the center is also now holding National Association for Interpretation Certified Interpretive Guide workshops.
