All faculty, staff and student employees should have received an email from Workplace Answers eLearning indicating that they have been registered by the university to complete “Preventing Discrimination and Sexual Violence: Title IX, VAWA, and Clery Act for Illinois Faculty and Staff.”  More


Recyclemania events start on campus next week

The first event on campus for the RecycleMania 2018 Collegiate Recycling Tournament is Feb. 20, with a program aimed at reducing waste created due to disposable coffee cups. More


University earns national recognition for awarding scholarships

For the second time in 2018, the university has earned national recognition for the scholarships and financial aid assistance it provides to students. More


‘Illinois Ethics Matters’ newsletter available

The monthly Illinois Ethics Matters newsletter for February is available. The Office of Executive Inspector General for the agencies of the Illinois governor publishes the newsletter as a way to stay abreast of current issues relating to ethical matters. The university’s Ethics Office website is at ethics.siu.edu/. The website contains information regarding how to file a complaint and the relevant contact information, as well as many other resources.


'Left on Pearl' earns John Michaels Film honors
