'Hank Ziety Variety Hour' is next week

The “Hank Ziety Variety Hour,” part of the 2017-18 Marion Kleinau Theatre Performance Series, is Feb. 22-24.

The performance is written by Darren Valenta and the cast, and co-directed by Valenta and Anna Wilcoxen, both doctoral students in the Communication Studies program. The shows begin at 8 p.m. in the theater, which is on the second floor of the Communications Building.

A brief synopsis states the variety show is “hosted by D-list celebrity and physical manifestation of existential dread Hank Ziety” and will take the audience “deep into the minds of its start-studded guest list.”

Tickets are $7, $5 for students with ID, and available at the door before the performance begins. Payment is cash only. The performance includes mature themes. To reserve tickets, call 618/453-5618.
