The Paul Simon Public Policy Institute next week will launch a new series that focuses on how mayors across Illinois are working to serve their communities.
A project funded by a grant received by Lisabeth DiLalla will find out, with help from local preschoolers, if superheroes and fun activities can assist in keeping the children safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This month’s edition includes theft prevention advice; tips for avoiding identity theft; the Safety, Awareness, Facts and Education website, and ways to manage stress associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

There will be no SIU Today on Monday due to the Labor Day holiday. SIU Today will resume on Thursday, Sept. 10.
