SIU researchers find naked mole-rat bite force varies with social status in surprising way

Researchers at SIU Carbondale recently published a paper on the naked mole rat after discovering a relationship between the animals’ bite force and social status.

New Arts Jazztet will perform Sunday 

New Arts Jazztet, a Southern Illinois jazz group comprised of SIU faculty, will perform at Jazz Vespers, an evening prayer service, at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Carbondale on Sunday.
