December payroll reminders

Human Resources reminds faculty and staff that December is a short month for running all the necessary payrolls. Anyone responsible for entering or reporting time or sending in paperwork is asked to pay attention to run dates on this month’s calendar so that everyone is paid correctly and on their designated pay date. Ceremony, reception to recognize service, retiring employees

The university will recognize university employees for their service and commitment and honor retiring employees during a ceremony and reception Friday in Student Center Ballroom D. The ceremony starts at 8:30 a.m., with a faculty-staff appreciation coffee immediately following in ballrooms A, B and C.


SIU students getting special entrepreneurship training and experience 

Six students will be honored today for their selection for University Innovation Fellows, a national leadership program designed to help them become more innovative, creative and entrepreneurial and to foster those traits in fellow students. Full story


Physics staff member to give talk on volunteers observing exoplanets
