Ceremony, reception to recognize service, retiring employees

The university will recognize university employees for their service and commitment and honor retiring employees during a ceremony and reception Friday in Student Center Ballroom D. The ceremony starts at 8:30 a.m., with a faculty-staff appreciation coffee immediately following in ballrooms A, B and C.

‘Illinois Ethics Matters’ newsletter available 

The monthly Illinois Ethics Matters newsletter for November is available. The Office of Executive Inspector General publishes the newsletter to allow state employees to stay informed of current issues relating to ethics. The SIU System Ethics Office website is at ethics.siu.edu. The website contains information regarding how to file a complaint, relevant contact information, and many other resources.


Graduate students to present research in materials science, engineering 

The Materials Technology Center is hosting a poster session Dec. 3 in the Student Center’s John W. Corker Lounge where 25 graduate students will present posters on their research. Full story
