Graduate students to present research in materials science, engineering
The Materials Technology Center is hosting a poster session Dec. 3 in the Student Center’s John W. Corker Lounge where 25 graduate students will present posters on their research.
The session is from 2 to 4 p.m.
Graduate students from the Chemistry and Biochemistry, Mechanical Engineering and Energy Processes, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Physics and Electrical and Computer Engineering departments will present their research.
The applications of materials research include:
- Solar energy.
- Catalysis.
- Energy storage.
- Biomechanics.
- Wastewater treatment.
- Electronic devices.
- Electrochemistry.
