Public memorial service for Chancellor Montemagno is Tuesday; Scholarship fund established
Faculty, staff, students and community members are welcome to attend a public memorial service honoring Chancellor Carlo Montemagno at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Shryock Auditorium.
In addition, the Carlo D. Montemagno Scholarship Fund has been established under the SIU Foundation. Gifts can be sent to the foundation or made online. Gifts may also be made in the chancellor’s honor to This Able Veteran.
To learn more about the chancellor’s distinguished career, many awards recognizing his work, and dedication to family, please see his obituary. Faculty, staff and others are still welcome to share a story or memory on the chancellor’s blog.
