With so much to see and do, it’s easy to overlook some of the more thought-provoking lectures and speakers who come to campus. But I highly recommend taking time to hear about some truly awe-inspiring experiences. Full story

Training relating to sexual harassment deadline is Oct. 1 

Faculty, staff, graduate assistants and student employees are reminded of required training relating to sexual harassment. The deadline to complete the training is Oct. 1. This training is in addition to the federally required “Preventing Discrimination and Sexual Violence” training program. Employees will need to access their D2L account at https://mycourses.siu.edu and take the mandatory training online. Contact the Office of Equity and Compliance with questions at odetraining@siu.edu or 453-4807. 

In addition, the state’s mandatory online 2018 ethics training for all permanent SIU faculty, staff, graduate assistants, and volunteers will take place Oct. 1-31. 


Energy Forum set for Friday will entertain, educate on sustainability
