The first 'Tuesday Trek' of the spring semester is at 12:15 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3. The 1.5- to 2.5-mile walk will begin at the Student Services Building Pavilion. In the event of inclement weather, the location will be the Student Recreation Center indoor track. If you are unsure if the location has changed, please email Brittney Pender or call the Personal Fitness and Wellness Studio at 453-1272. Research shows that walking at least 30 minutes a day can help reduce the risk of breast and colon cancer, as well as many other illnesses. Information on this and other “WellSIU Employee/Retiree Wellness Initiative” programs available to faculty and staff is here.

SIU Today welcomes submissions from faculty and staff. Please read the submission guidelines and use the online submission form to share campus announcements and event information.
