CASA hosts robotics competition on Saturday
The College of Applied Sciences and Arts is hosting a robotics competition on Saturday, Jan. 31, that features 20 teams of junior high and high school students from five states. The competition will be at the Transportation Education Center at the Southern Illinois Airport. More
Graduate school dean forum schedule updated
An open forum with a candidate for dean of the graduate school scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 3, has been canceled due to the candidate’s withdrawal from the search. Information regarding the open forums for the remaining three candidates, with their CVs, is available here.
Student Opportunity Center open to campus
The University Honors Program and the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (CURCA) are co-funding the Student Opportunity Center, a database of more than 10,000 conferences, journals, internships and scholarships available to the university community. More
Center for Teaching Excellence hosting open labs
The Center for Teaching Excellence is hosting two sessions in February for faculty who have questions about the effective use of Desire2Learn (D2L) tools, SIUOnline technical issues, and third-party tool and textbook integrations. The sessions are from 10 a.m. to Noon, Feb. 10 and Feb. 11, in Morris Library, Room 174.
