Interdisciplinary scientist named new CALPS dean

Eric Brevik, a professor of geology and soil science at Dickinson State University, will be the next dean of the College of Agricultural, Life and Physical Sciences. He will begin his duties at SIU on July 1, pending approval from the SIU Board of Trustees.

Flying Salukis’ ground work leads to another top 3 national finish

Under the direction of Nathan J. Lincoln, coach and senior lecturer in aviation management and flight, the Flying Salukis finished third in the National Intercollegiate Flying Association, marking the 10th straight year the squad has finished third or higher in the nation.
