Five new schools launched

Academic reorganization continued with the launch of five schools on January 1.

A/P performance evaluations due April 1

University policy requires that all Administrative/Professional staff have their work evaluated on an annual basis between Jan. 1 and March 31. The rating period to be used for evaluations completed in 2020 is Jan. 1, 2019 – Dec. 31, 2019. A new performance evaluation form became effective July 1 and the current evaluation form can be found on the AIS e-forms website at

Completed evaluations should be sent to Labor and Employee Relations prior to April 1, 2020. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact Labor and Employee Relations at 453-6691.

Touch of Nature offering Valentine’s weekend “How Sweet It Is” camp

A Valentine’s weekend to remember for children is available courtesy of Touch of Nature Environmental Center.

The Department of Public Safety’s January 2020 issue of the ‘Saluki Watch Dawg’ is available. This month’s edition includes advice for students returning to class; the SIU Safe Walk App; crime and incident reporting tips; the department’s ride-along program, and information on the department’s SAFE website.
