‘Illinois Ethics Matters’ newsletter available 

The monthly Illinois Ethics Matters newsletter for January is available. The Office of Executive Inspector General publishes the newsletter to allow state employees to stay informed of current issues relating to ethics. The SIU System Ethics Office website is at ethics.siu.edu. The website contains information regarding how to file a complaint, relevant contact information, and many other resources.

After conducting surveys with the St. Louis County Police Department (SLCPD) before the 2014 death of Michael Brown, and then returning for in-depth interviews after the unrest period, researcher Tammy Kochel is comparing the changes in officer behavior while also evaluating how that might adjust depending on personal and racial experiences.
