Google Apps domain reminder
The Office of Information Technology is reminding faculty, staff and students who still use their university email address “@siu.edu” to access Google services, that access to the Google Apps domain will close May 17. More

Water seminar is April 7
The Center for Ecology and the Universities Council on Water Resources will host a water seminar next week in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium. Richard Cruse, director of the Iowa Water Center and agronomy professor at Iowa State University will present, “Soil and Water: Resources with decreasing life expectancy.” The free event is at 10 a.m., April 7, and the public is invited.

Tuesday Trek set for April 5
The next “Tuesday Trek” is at 12:15 p.m., April 5. The 1.5- to 2.5 mile walk will being at the Student Services Building Pavilion and go around campus lake. The trek will last about 45 minutes. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be May 3. If you are unsure whether the trek will be held, please email Brittany Pender or call the Personal Wellness and Fitness Studio at 453-1272. Heart disease is the nation’s No. 1 killer, but exercising for as little as 30 minutes each day can reduce the risk.
