University receives $50,000 geothermal grant

The university recently received a $50,000 GeoAlliance grant to help fund the installation of a highly energy efficient and environmentally friendly geothermal heat pump heating and cooling system for a portion of the Transportation Education Center. More

SIUOnline Open Lab is Dec. 8

Instructors with questions about the effective use of Desire2Learn (D2L) tools, SIUOnline technical issues, third-party tool and textbook integrations, or calculating and submitting final grades, can receive help Dec. 8 from the Center for Teaching Excellence. A session will be from 10 a.m. to noon in Morris Library, Room 174. The open lab, with individual assistance from CTE staff, is available to answer any questions. Pre-registration is not necessary.
