Men’s, women’s basketball teams in action next week
The Saluki men’s and women’s basketball teams return to the SIU Arena with a pair of games to kick off the holiday break. The men face Oakland University at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24, as part of the Corpus Christi Coastal Challenge; the women host Tennessee-Martin at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Group rates are available for those holiday outings with friends and family. Tickets are available by calling 877-SALUKIS (725-8547), visiting SIUSalukis.com, or getting tickets the day of the game.
‘Saluki Watch Dawg’ November issue is available
The Department of Public Safety’s November issue of the ‘Saluki Watch Dawg’ is available. This month’s edition includes holiday season crime prevention tips, domestic violence awareness, a reminder of emergency kit necessities, and a look at the department’s work in the community. The newsletter is also available on the department’s website.

SIU Today holiday schedule
SIU Today will have the following holiday schedule. There will not be an issue on Thursday, Nov. 26, due to Thanksgiving. The last issue prior to Christmas break will be Dec. 21. SIU Today will resume on Jan. 7.
