SIU now smoke-free

SIU became a smoke-free campus, in compliance with the Illinois Smoke Free Campus Act, effective July 1. State law and university policy now prohibit smoking on all campus property, including buildings, grounds, parking lots and university-owned or operated vehicles. Staff email servers to undergo maintenance next week

Maintenance work on Exchange servers (staff email) starting at 6 p.m., July 10, may result in intermittent connection issues from Outlook email clients and phones. Staff using Outlook Web Access (OWA) may see longer periods of not being able to use OWA. The maintenance work should be complete by 2 a.m. July 11.
