From the Chancellor

The university’s retention plan includes strategies to serve and retain students who have potential but may be academically underprepared for college. One is to develop an assessment tool that will help us identify subpopulations of at-risk students and develop an intervention system.

Another is to develop and pilot an effective course placement program for all students who enter with a relatively low ACT score. Details are available online.
