Accomplishments - June, 2019
John Shaw, Paul Simon Public Policy Institute, has been elected to a three-year term on the board of directors for Forefront, a Chicago-based organization, which has more than 1,100 members including major foundations, corporations, charitable trusts, donor-advised funds, investment managers and philanthropists. He will also serve on the board’s public affairs committee.
In recognition to her contributions to agriculture education and the Illinois Association FFA, Karen Midden, Agricultural Sciences, received an honorary State FFA Degree at the annual Illinois State FFA Convention June 12 in Springfield. She also participated in a panel discussion and shared ideas on how to keep students in Illinois for college.
