Faculty-staff appreciation coffee is Tuesday 

A faculty-staff appreciation coffee is from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Student Center’s International Lounge prior to the university recognizing employees for their service and commitment and honor retiring employees at 10 a.m. in Student Center Ballroom D.


Charles Neblett to present 2019 Diversity Excellence Lecture on Wednesday 

The SIU Board of Trustees will welcome special guest speaker Charles Neblett at its annual Diversity Excellence Lecture & Award Ceremony at the Student Center Auditorium at 6 p.m. Wednesday.


'Art Over Easy' to feature live music, VIP reception, and auctions 

Art Over Easy, the annual art auction and show hosted by the School of Art and Design, is back for a 15th year on Friday and features a new twist.


Faculty and Staff Excellence Award nominations due Feb. 7 

The nomination deadline for Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards is 4:30 p.m. Feb. 7. This university-wide awards program is an opportunity to recognize outstanding teaching, significant scholarly and artistic contributions, and dedication to furthering the mission of the university.
