Free tax preparation services are available

Students with Beta Alpha Psi, a College of Business and Analytics honors accounting organization under the direction of lecturer and faculty adviser Benna Williams, will be offering free tax preparation services to eligible participants the next two Saturdays, March 27 and April 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.


Virtual presentation on fighting human trafficking is April 7

Former FBI counterterrorism expert Richard Schoeberl will discuss his work to investigate and stop human trafficking during a virtual lecture hosted by Wellness and Health Promotion Services on April 7.


A/P performance evaluations are due April 1

University policy requires that all administrative/professional staff have their work evaluated on an annual basis between Jan. 1 and March 31. The rating period to be used for evaluations completed in 2021 is Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2020. Evaluation forms are on the AIS e-forms website. Completed evaluations should be sent to Labor and Employee Relations before April 1, 2021. Friday is a time to show your Saluki spirit

Everyone in the SIU Carbondale community is invited to show their Saluki spirit by wearing maroon on Fridays. Wherever they live or work, alumni, students, faculty, staff, community members and all friends of the university are encouraged to wear SIU maroon each Friday throughout the year to demonstrate and build pride in the university.
