SIU students and faculty help women’s military service project grow 

Associate Professor Bobbi Knapp and several of her graduate students are continuing a special research and service project of gathering stories of women serving in the military and preserving those accounts for future generations.


Information Technology equipment cleaning guidelines 

With a goal of employees working in a safe and healthy environment, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) is recommending cleaning supplies and procedures for equipment.


‘Sustainable Cycling’ class available

Faculty, staff and students with an active membership to the Student Recreation Center can participate in a series of classes that will provide participants with an introduction to urban cycling.


Virtual conversation on hate speech and social media is Tuesday 

Faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to join a live virtual discussion on Tuesday on hate speech and the use of social media in higher education. The discussion is from 5 to 7 p.m. and will be available on the SIU System’s YouTube Channel. The SIU System President’s Office and the SIU System Diversity Advisory Council are discussion sponsors.
