Chancellor to deliver State of the University Address Tuesday

Flu immunizations available

The Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) will be providing free flu immunizations until Nov. 15, 2017 for all active and retired SIU Carbondale employees, as well as surviving spouses enrolled in a state-sponsored health plan. The Jackson County Health Department will administer the immunizations twice in the upcoming weeks. More

Honorary degree/service award nominations due Oct. 25 

The deadline for honorary degrees and distinguished service award nominations is Wednesday, Oct. 25. Honorary degrees are presented to individuals who have made outstanding scholarly contributions or are of considerable renown in any field of activity. Distinguished Service Awards honor individuals who have contributed to Southern Illinois, the state, nation, world or the university. More


SURS general retirement session is set
