Campus-wide scan of employee computers is this weekend 

The Office of Information Technology’s (OIT) security team will perform a campus-wide scan of all employee computers to detect unsecured sensitive information on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 29-30. More


Early voting available at Student Center 

Faculty, staff, students and the public who live in Jackson County can cast their ballots Friday, Oct. 28, and Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 2-4, on the Student Center first floor near the escalators. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 2-4. More

The Office of Executive Inspector General for the agencies of the Illinois governor publishes the newsletter as a way to stay abreast of current issues relating to ethical matters. The website contains information regarding how to file a complaint and the relevant contact information, as well as many other resources.

Women’s basketball opens season tonight

The Saluki women’s basketball team will open the 2016-17 season at 6 p.m., today (Oct. 27) at the SIU Arena in an exhibition game against William Woods. All youths ages 12 and under can receive free admission to the game by wearing a Halloween costume. Trick-or-treating will take place on the upper concourse.
