Fermentation science degree on tap at SIU

The beer brewers, wine vintners and spirit distillers of tomorrow can officially begin their professional training starting this summer, according to Matt McCarroll, director of the university’s Fermentation Science Institute and professor of chemistry and biochemistry. More

Chugh to deliver graduate forum speech

Yoginder "Paul" Chugh, emeritus professor in mining and mineral resources, will present the keynote address at the 2016 Graduate Creative Activity and Research Forum. The speech and discussion is at 12:30 p.m., April 5, in the Student Center’s Old Main Room. Chugh will present “How Should We Promote 21 Century Creative and Problem Solving Skills in SIU Carbondale Graduates? An Interactive Discussion.” RSVP is requested.
