The inaugural Applied Sciences and Arts Research Symposium, featuring presentations from faculty, research assistants and students, will take place Saturday, Nov. 22. More


Diversity offices to sponsor training sessions

The Office of the Associate Chancellor for Institutional Diversity and the Office of Diversity and Equity will be sponsoring three open-campus training sessions Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 24-26. Topics and dates are sexual harassment prevention, Nov. 24; discrimination, Nov. 25, and disability/Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Nov. 26. Each of the sessions will be in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The sponsoring offices are committed to nurturing diversity and providing opportunities to learn and work in an environment free of bias, discrimination and harassment on campus.

SIU Today holiday schedule

SIU Today will have the following holiday schedule. There will not be an issue on Thursday, Nov. 27, due to Thanksgiving. The last issue prior to Christmas break will be Dec. 19. SIU Today will resume on Jan. 8.
