Walk will put spotlight on oral cancer
Students in the Dental Hygiene Program will participate in the Oral Cancer Foundation’s inaugural Southern Illinois awareness walk on Oct. 5. Inaugural Harvest Festival/Open House is Oct. 2
The university’s sustainable vegetable farm and Local Organic Gardening Initiative of Carbondale (LOGIC) will host the inaugural Harvest Festival from 3 to 6 p.m., Oct. 2, at the student gardens and student farm, 3373 W. Pleasant Hill Road, Carbondale. Everyone is encouargd to visit, walk the farms, take a tour and taste the food. There will also be music and eco art activities with the Student Center Craft Shop.
‘Curtains’ lifts 2014-15 theater season
