Jennifer Brobst, School of Law, will give a free, virtual panel presentation on “Frontier Mentalities and the Opportunity for New Customary Law in Space,” at the University of Waikato, New Zealand Virtual Outer Space Law Conference at 3:45 p.m. Sept. 2. Brobst will be discussing the role of law and new frontier human settlement in space.

“Xenophon’s Socratic Works,” by David Johnson, associate professor, classics, was published recently by Routledge. In the book, Johnson argues that Xenophon, a less-studied contemporary of Plato, is the best source for the trial of Socrates and an indispensable source for Socratic ethics.

“What is ‘Likely to Be Confusing’ About Trademark Law:  Reconsidering the Disparity Between Registration and Use” by Lorelei D. Ritchie, assistant professor, School of Law and a former judge in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, was recently published by the American University Law Review.
