Opportunities to help with Saluki Transfer Day are available
The university will host its inaugural Saluki Transfer Day later this month and faculty and staff are welcome to help.
The event is from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Feb. 24 and is designed to give students who have previously or who are currently attending a community college or other institution of higher learning the chance to experience a taste of what SIU can do for them.
Participants will get to explore academic programs that interest them through interactive presentations. They will meet faculty, academic advisers and financial aid specialists, and talk with current Salukis who are transfer students. They will learn about the SIU campus and the many resources available to them.
