Women's Leadership Retreat is March 30-31
Faculty and staff have an opportunity to help students attend the second Women’s Leadership Retreat at Touch of Nature Environmental Center next week.
The program, “Lifting as We Climb: Empowering Women through Community and Leadership” is designed to provide female students two days of leadership enrichment and personal development. The student registration deadline is March 23. The cost of the conference is $20.
Organizers will be offering scholarships to those that want to attend, but who cannot afford the registration fee. Faculty and staff who are interested in sponsoring a student or who know of someone willing to sponsor a student can contact Leslie Brock with University Conference Services at 618/453-1141 or lagodwin@siu.edu.
