Reminder: Mandated discrimination-free and harassment-free training due Dec. 8

SIU Carbondale faculty and staff should have received on Oct. 18 an email to complete federally mandated training for maintaining a discrimination-free and harassment-free campus. The training may be accessed from Vector Solutions at siu-il.vectorlmsedu.com/login. Chrome, Firefox and Safari are the recommended browsers. SIU email addresses are assigned as usernames. Employees with more than one university assigned email address can contact the Office of Equity and Compliance for assistance. All faculty, staff, graduate assistants, undergraduate assistants, student employees, extra-help employees and volunteers must complete the training by Dec. 8.  The deadline was extended one week to Dec. 8 because the email did not go out until Oct. 18. If you need assistance or have questions, contact the Office of Equity and Compliance at odetraining@siu.edu or 618-453-4807.

Campus Security Authority training emails sent to select SIU employees

D Stafford & Associates (DSA) and SIU have partnered to provide online training to employees identified as a campus security authority (CSA) and Title IX responsible employee (RE). This training will help each person identified as a CSA or RE meet their annual training requirements and will assist the institution in complying with the Clery Act and/or Title IX. Emails with individualized links to the training have been sent to employees who are CSAs or REs on Wednesday, Nov. 15. If the email is not in the inbox, employees should check the junk folder.
