Training on NEOED Online Hiring Center to start in late November
As SIU Carbondale prepares to replace its current job applicant tracking software, HireTouch, with NEOED Online Hiring Center (OHC), the university will offer two live training sessions after Thanksgiving break.
The live training sessions via D2L will be:
- Monday, Nov. 27, noon to 12:45 p.m., Civil Service OHC User Training.
- Wednesday, Nov. 29, 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., Administrative Professional (A/P) and Faculty OHC User Training.
Employees identified as NEOED users will receive emails about the training. However, the course will be available to any employee who wants to take it by clicking on the course title at the NEOED Implementation Updates website.
If you perform any of the duties below, you must complete both OHC training sessions, either live or recorded, before security access is granted.
- Initiate Position Request Forms (PRFs).
- Schedule job interviews.
- Initiate any of the employment forms throughout the hiring process.
- Sign or approve any of the employment forms.
The live training session will give you the opportunity to ask questions. The sessions will be recorded and available on demand afterward.
NEOED will be live and available to the campus Dec. 11, 2023, and HireTouch will be available through the end of the 2023 calendar year to either complete the hire or transition midstream processing to NEOED. You can direct specific questions or concerns to jobshelp@siu.edu.
