Women’s Leadership Council grant applications available
Applications are open for the SIU Foundation Women’s Leadership Council’s 2027-2028 Student, Faculty and Staff Micro-Grant Award. The application deadline is Friday, Nov. 20.
The annual program provides seed funding to innovative, women-led projects that support innovative, university-focused initiatives that empower women and enhance student learning and engagement at SIU Carbondale.
Each grant supports initiatives that amplify the voices, leadership and creativity of women students, faculty and staff across campus, while aligning with WLC’s mission to empower women and create opportunities for growth, connection and impact. Whether you’re developing a new initiative or expanding an existing project with a fresh approach, this funding opportunity can help bring your ideas to life.
Grant awards range from $500 to $1,500 and may support new academic or professional development initiatives, as well as creative or community-based programs that inspire engagement and leadership among Salukis.
Finalists will be invited to interview with the WLC Board of Directors in January, with award recipients announced in February 2027.
