Students can receive free flu shots

To protect Southern Illinois University Carbondale students from the flu, Student Health Services is hosting eight flu clinics starting on Wednesday, Oct. 7.

The no-cost clinics are part of the National Flu Vaccination Challenge, a friendly competition sponsored by Alana’s Foundation to see which school can get the most students vaccinated against the flu. The clinics are supported through a vaccine assistance grant from Alana’s Foundation. SIU is competing in the medium school college/university division.

Flu shots will be available, while supplies last on these dates and locations. Students need to provide their Dawg Tag.
