SIU Micro Imaging and Analysis Center open house is this Friday
The SIU Micro Imaging and Analysis Center is hosting an open house for the university community from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11.
The open house will introduce SIU faculty, staff and students to the imaging and analytical capabilities available at the center, including scanning electron microscope/energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDS), transmission electron microscope (TEM), atomic force microscope (AFM), critical point drying, ultramicrotomy, sputter coating, and related services.
During the open house, visitors may bring samples and have one sample analyzed for free. The center is at 750 Communication Drive.
