Annuitants’ SIU Carbondale chapter to meet Aug. 4
Bryan Soady, executive director of the statewide State Universities Annuitants Association (SUAA) will be at a general meeting and reception of SIU Carbondale’s SUAA chapter on Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the Student Center Old Main Room.
The catered program begins at 4:30 p.m. and is free and open to chapter members and guests. RSVPs are not required, and questions can be emailed to annuitants@siu.edu.
The program will allow members, retirees, annuitants and people interested in learning more about SUAA, the organization’s priorities and becoming involved at both the state and local levels. Soady will provide insight on Tier II and other issues. There will also be an opportunity to share feedback and ideas for the SIU Carbondale chapter.
