Sexual health education event is April 15
SIU’s Wellness and Health Promotion Services is hosting “Sex in the Spring” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, in the Faner Breezeway and everyone is welcome to attend.
This annual reproductive and sexual health educational event focuses on safer practices. Learning activities will highlight consent, healthy relationships, contraception, infection prevention and hygiene. Participants can also meet with campus and community resources and learn about free health screenings and receive freebies. The goal of Wellness and Health Promotion Services in sponsoring this event is to provide information and resources, without shame or judgment, for informed decision-making regarding sexual behavior.
