Budget management report training session is Monday

The Office of Administration and Finance is offering one additional in-person training session to help SIU Carbondale employees learn to use the new Saluki Budget Management Report.

This training is open to all employees, with a special focus on those who manage budgets and finances for a unit. This session will be held from 1-3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9. in Morris Library, rooms 752/754. Pre-registration is required.

The training will provide information on such topics as:

• Basics of university budgeting and fiscal management.
• How to access the new Saluki Budget Management Report through Power BI, which will replace the Planning and Budget Information System (PLABIS).
• How to use the new report to view budgetary and financial information and drill through to view detailed transactions.
