Facilities and Energy Management launches service request portal
Facilities and Energy Management (FEM) has launched a service request portal for departments to submit service requests they are responsible for paying for.
The initiative is the start of the first phase in FEM’s transition to a modern work order management system aimed at improving efficiency and user experience. The portal is designed to simplify the process of submitting and tracking facilities-related requests across SIU Carbondale. Access is available only to SIU Carbondale faculty and staff using single sign-on (SSO) credentials.
The service request menu and instructions and request forms for facility services are available. After submitting a request, you will receive confirmation and may track the service status through the portal.
General maintenance requests will still be handled directly by the Facilities Operation Center (FOC) and not by using this form. The FOC will oversee all incoming requests and is available to answer questions and provide assistance.
