Employees get holiday discount for ‘SIU A to Z’ children’s book

Faculty and staff searching for perfect gifts for young readers can buy “SIU A to Z,” a new children’s book from the SIU Alumni Association that celebrates the university’s people, places and spirit, at a 25% holiday discount.

The book, which regularly sells for $20, will be available for $15 Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 2-5 to all university employees. All orders will be made through the SIU Alumni Association’s Saluki Market. Use the promo code SIUSTAFF to activate the discount at checkout. 

The book will be available for sale from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the alumni association’s table at the holiday reception in the Student Center’s International Lounge. Alumni association staff will be available to assist in processing orders. 

The book will also be available between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 2-5 in the main reception lobby of the Guida-Moller Family Alumni Center in Woody Hall, C-Wing.
