Mandatory annual Title IX training to launch Oct. 15

Mandatory Title IX training for all SIU Carbondale employees will begin on Oct. 15. To be compliant with Title IX regulations, all employees must complete training for 2025 before Dec. 19. The Office of Equity and Compliance updated the annual training to reflect current Title IX regulations.

The training assigned to all university employees for 2025 is “Preventing Harassment and Discrimination: Gateway (Illinois).” This year’s training can be completed in about one hour or less. Email notifications will be sent to employees via Vector Solutions. A link to the training will also be available on the Office of Equity and Compliance website. 

Please be aware that completion of the training is mandatory. Employees who do not comply with the directive to complete this training will be subject to disciplinary action.
