SIU Carbondale is providing free professional development, via LinkedIn Learning, for faculty and staff to help them advance their careers, including certifications.
You can take the courses at your own pace, and many are 30 minutes or less. You can learn about incorporating artificial intelligence into your work, get advice on how to run a meeting, brush up on commonly used software such as Excel or Adobe, and much more. You can choose from over 23,000 virtual courses taught by industry experts.

This service is also available at no cost to students, who might be interested in enhancing their skills and their resumes as they enter the job market.
