SIU System Faculty Collaboration Award nominations open
The Faculty Advisory Committee for the SIU System (FACSS) is accepting applications for the 2025 Faculty Collaboration Award. The annual award recognizes faculty for impactful collaborative endeavors across campuses in the areas of teaching, scholarship and creative activities, service and/or antiracism, diversity, equity and inclusion.
The award, created in 2023, is designed to foster continued collaborations among faculty members across SIU System campuses in support of the SIU System vision and mission. The award will be presented at the SIU Board of Trustees meeting on Sept. 18. Each team, and the individuals, will receive a plaque and a $1,000 cash prize to be equally divided among team members and routed through the campuses’ payroll systems.
Apply online by April 18. Information on award criteria and eligibility is available on the SIU System vice president for academic innovation, planning and partnerships webpage. Previous winners for 2023 and 2024 are also on the webpage.
